You Can Help Our Mission

Goods & Services Donation

Donations to the Community Crisis Center support the thousands of individuals who come to us each year in crisis situations by allowing us to fulfill our mission to advocate for a healthy, non-violent environment for all people. To arrange a food drive, supply drive, make a gift of appreciated securities/property or are planning on delivering a donation, please call 847-742-4088.

Shelter Donations

Our shelter houses up to 40 women and children and our Economic Crisis Program serves walk-in clients who often need emergency assistance with food and personal hygiene items. We have occasional need for office-quality shredders, specific up-to-date computer hardware and software, and new or gently used kitchen items and furniture for our transitional living program. Please note, used clothing is not accepted because of inadequate storage space. To arrange a supply drive on our behalf, please call 847-742-4088.

Emergency Food Pantry Donations

The emergency food pantry is available 7 days a week. People in our community are hungry and we believe that it is our responsibility to provide basic needs to people in our community regardless of their situation. To arrange a food drive on our behalf, please call 847-742-4088.

Seasonal Donations

Winter outerwear donations are accepted every year from September 1 through December 31. Gently used winter-weight outwear, gloves, hats and scarves are accepted. There is always a shortage of coats in mens large sizes every year, so those are greatly appreciated. We also have seasonal needs for school uniforms for children, blankets, holiday gifts and winter outerwear. For more information on our seasonal needs, please call 847-742-4088.
