Safety is a main concern for a victim of domestic violence and her children. Both short-term and long-term safety planning are important. You need to know the most dangerous time for a victim is when she leaves. Because this web page is available to anyone with Internet access , we have not posted guidelines for safety planning. If you need to make a plan to be safe in your current situation or a plan to leave your current situation, call us at the Community Crisis Center at 847-697-2380 . You will talk to a professional counselor who can help you make this plan in a confidential and safe setting.
